Points of Interest

One of the poems i read was Dream Boogie, i thought it was beautifully written. I loved how it seemed as if another voice just popped in, during the middle of the poem. I really enjoyed the very last couple of line of the poem, it made it a fun poem to read. I really connected with it, it reminded me of just being younger and having no worries.

I really enjoyed the poem And What Do You Get, by Heather McHugh. I thought it was incredibly interesting. I've never heard a poem phrased in the way she had it. It brought up points that I've never thought about before. How she put her words in the poem i thought was very well done.

The poem Tell Me What You Know About Dismembermant was very confusing to me, i didn't really understand what was going on. The only thing i could pick out was that most of the stuff they talked about was disgusting. It was interesting however how they set the poem up. Almost as if it was a story.
